I found out about my breast cancer diagnosis in 2010. This was followed by partial breast removal, radiotherapy and drinking medication - 5 years (Nolvadex). The cancer came back to me in July 2016. They cut my breast completely. I was given chemotherapy in Bulgaria without the necessary tests and without following up how far the cancer had progressed.
With the help of my relatives and from my acquaintance, I came to know about "Medical Karaj". I went with all the research I had. I received treatment suggestions from several clinics. I chose Memorial Hospital - Istanbul. I went for repeat tests for the type of tumor, and a PET scan, which I had not had before.
The shock came for me after the PET scan results came out. The cancer was stage 4, with bone and liver spread. I started chemotherapy the very next day. In the time that has passed, up until now I have changed several treatments, the fight for me continues. I have fallen in spirit thousands of times, cried and rejoiced at the smallest success, in this unequal struggle. But I want to tell all the people not to give up and fight till the last grain of hope. Bad things come very quickly and no one in life is insured. When a person is healthy, unfortunately he does not objectively appreciate what he has. When he loses his health he is willing to do anything to get it back. On my way through my struggle, I met many different people.
Some surprised me with kindness, others surprised me with callousness. For me and my family, Medical Carrage Health Information Center left and still leaves a lasting mark on our lives. For us, Zvezdelina Kara became a part of our family, our prayers and our lives. When I feel the greatest fears, the greatest pains, the greatest joys, the first person I call after my family is Zvezdi. There isn't a day that goes by that I haven't thought of them.
