I have prostate cancer. I was ordered a PET scan with gallium 68- a specialized test for this diagnosis. I was told in Bulgaria that there was no consumable and I would wait a month or more for the test. I looked for other options and contacted the Medical Karaj Health Information Center. Two days later I was in Istanbul with a consultation with a medical oncologist arranged and an appointment booked for the test. I now have a result and a treatment plan.
