There is no „before“ photo... Well, there is, but only at the doctor's.
I never managed to work up the courage and never looked. Actually, I looked once, without meaning to… I cried for nearly 5 hours… It was enough for me that I could feel and see through my clothes. It was enough for me that I couldn’t fit into more than 90 % of my clothes. It was enough for me that I had to wear only shapewear.
I left for Turkey with knowledge of a very large diastasis, an umbilical hernia, and the reassurance of a surgeon from Bulgaria not to have surgery. The hernia was small, and the other is nothing that directly affects your life.
After I went there and they did my tests, it turned out there wasn't just one hernia, but there were zero in the back. TEN HERNIAS!!! One umbilical hernia, one big one low down, and eight smaller ones all over my abdomen. It felt a bit like being shot at close range.
And so a hernia operation, which was initially purely cosmetic, also became an emergency.
It's pure luck that nothing has happened for over a year and a half, because otherwise I would have been rushed somewhere and... I don't want to think about it, because unfortunately, I don't trust our doctors or our healthcare system at all.
It's not even luck, but thanks to the best daddy, partner, and friend – Alexander, who himself offered to take on „motherhood.“ He knew it would be very difficult for me to lift and carry (And also a plus for him – he won't have to go to work?)
It wasn't luck that I found a great doctor who deals with very difficult cases, and who approached them with such calmness and understanding that right then and there I was sure things would get better – Prof. Dr. Burak Erchin. This man is an alien!
It wasn't luck, because realizing that nothing had improved a year later, only one name came to mind. Zvezdelina's. I knew she would help me and find the most suitable specialist for me, because believe me, she is not just a person – she is an angel among people!
This isn't the first time she's helped me, and a lifetime won't be enough for me to thank her and repay even a fraction of the kindness and love I feel from her.
I hope you don't have to, but if you have a health problem, she and „Medical Karadji“ are the best choice!
