And I got to our translator, Emine - or as we call her, Emmy. I don't know what it's like to have a sister, but this girl was like a native sister in a foreign country to me. Not only did she translate for us, she was there at all hours of the day and night with advice (she worked as a dental assistant), support, a smile, concern, and in general, we relied on her for everything!
