Rhinoplasty is a surgical intervention to correct and reconstruct the nose. It is one of the most common procedures performed to improve the symmetry, shape and size of the nose. Your doctor will also place a splint on your nose for protection and support. It usually stays in place for about a week. It can take up to 12 months to fully recover from rhinoplasty and achieve the desired results, and in some cases the recovery period can take up to 18 months.
