Prof. Dr. Mutlu Arat, Head of the Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at the Memorial Şişli Hospital, Istanbul, was among the guest speakers in the program of the Oncology Seminar organized by Medical Karaj.
Within his lecture on "Management of Adult Hematology Patients in 2025", he presented a modern multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies - including leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma and rare hematologic diagnoses.
Prof. Arat said that it was a pleasure for him to meet the Bulgarian audience and to present the new developments in personalized medicine, hematopoietic cell transplantation and care for patients in remission.
He emphasized the importance of accurate diagnosis, advanced imaging and long-term follow-up after therapy as key factors for long-term disease control and improved quality of life.
