The hospital has been in operation in the Acıbadem district, Anatolian side of Istanbul since 1991.
Acıbadem Dr. Şinasi Can (Kadıköy) Hospital increased the internal area from 5,000 square meters three times to 17,600 m2 in 1998 to meet the growing needs of patients. The hospital has a capacity of 138 beds and 23 intensive care beds.
