EDUCATION:

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zeki Günliuoglu was born in 1970 in Mardin, Turkey.
Between 1986 and 1992, he studied medicine at Dickle University Medical School.
In 1994, he started his specialization in thoracic surgery at University Hospital for Research and Development, Department of Thoracic Surgery (T.CSB Yedikule Chest Diseases). During this time (until 1994) he worked as a general practitioner at the Ministry of Health, Isparta - Boundley Health Centre.
In 2011, the specialist received the title of "associate professor" at the Department of Thoracic Surgery of TSB "Yedikule".

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zeki Günliuoglu's professional experience:

  • Between 1999 and 2002, he worked as a medical surgeon at the Ministry of Health in Düzce and the Tandogan Thogyöz State Hospital.
  • between 2002 and 2012, as a physician-operator and chief assistant at the Yedikule Hospital for Scientific and Research Activities in Thoracic Diseases and Thoracic Surgery
  • Since 2012, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zeki has been a Professor at the Department of Thoracic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul Medipol University.
  • To date, the specialist practices at the Department of Thoracic Surgery of Medipol Mega Hospital, Istanbul.
