Prof. Dr. Berna Jelken was born in 1978 in Eskisehir. She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2000. She completed her specialty in internal medicine at Haydarpaşa Numune Teaching and Research Hospital in 2005. In 2006, she started her fellowship training in nephrology at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. In 2008, she completed her clinical observation at Boston Medical Center in the Department of Nephrology and Transplantation. In 2009, she completed her fellowship in nephrology at Istanbul University School of Medicine. He obtained the degree of Associate Professor in 2012 and the degree of Professor in 2018. Since July 2018, he has been working at Koç University Hospital, Organ Transplant Center.
