  • Dr. Schurz studied human medicine at the Medical Faculty in Vienna, after which he successfully completed his specialist training in trauma surgery as well as the additional discipline of sports traumatology at the University Clinic of Trauma Surgery in Vienna,
  • Since 2012, Dr. Schurz has been the senior physician in charge of the department at the University Clinic of Trauma Surgery in Vienna,
  • Since 2013, she has been the head of the sports outpatient department at the University Trauma Surgery Clinic,
  • In September 2017, Dr. Schurz successfully passed a specialty exam in orthopedics and traumatology,
  • As of 2019, he is a specialist in orthopedics and traumatology,
  • From March 2020, Dr. Schurz is working independently at the surgery of the Wiener Privatklinik,
  • Dr. Schurz is certified as a sports physician by the Austrian Medical Association (ÖAK-Diplom Sportmedizin), holds a diploma as an emergency medicine physician as well as a diploma in mountain medicine.
