Проф. д-р Гюнеш завършва медицинското си образование в Медицинския факултет на Истанбулския университет. Специализира УНГ от 2007 до 2012 година в Катедра по УНГ, Медицински факултет на Истанбулския университет. Започва работа в Учебна и изследователска болница Bakırköy Dr Sadi Konuk през 2013 година. Става главен асистент през 2015 година. За да повиши знанията и опита си относно рака на главата и шията и техниките за реконструкция през 2018 година работи в Университета на Арканзас за медицински науки, а през 2019 в Института по физиология и патология на слуха, Полша. Получава титлата доцент през 2019 година. От август 2021 г. проф. д-р Гюнеш приема пациенти в Болница „Мемориал Шишли“, Истанбул.
