  • He graduated in medicine at the Medical Faculty of the University of Vienna in 2002 and then became a research fellow at the department of cardio-thoracic surgery at the faculty.
  • He was a junior doctor in the departments of paediatrics and general and vascular surgery at Glan Clwyd Hospital in Rhyl, UK.
  • Between 2005-2007 and 2007-2010 he specialized in otorhinolaryngology, head and neck surgery, at the Medical School Hospital in Vienna.
  • He also works as a senior physician at Addenbrooke's Hospital, University of Cambridge.
  • He received a fellowship in head and neck surgery from the Head and Neck Cancer Institute in Sydney, Australia.
  • Since 2012 he is a surgeon at the Department of Otolaryngology at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria.
