On September 5, Skopje gathered over 400 women entrepreneurs from 11 countries for the DTİK Balkanlar Kadın Girişimciler Buluşması – an international meeting dedicated to women's entrepreneurship in the Balkans. 🌹
Bulgaria was represented by a delegation of nearly 20 women entrepreneurs, including the manager of Medical Karaj, Zvezdelina Lutfi, as part of the Bulgarian-Turkish Women's Business Club.
Among the Bulgarian representatives at the forum was also Mr. Jemal Kara, DTİK representative for Bulgaria.
One of the special moments in the program was the participation of the chairwoman of the Bulgarian-Turkish Women's Business Club, Türkân Türker, in the panel „Success Stories of Turkish Women in the Balkans.“ Before the international audience, she shared her personal and professional journey—a story backed by years of work, perseverance, bold decisions, and overcome challenges.
Such meetings show how much potential there is in the Balkans when women entrepreneurs from different countries meet, share experience, and create a foundation for new partnerships.
We thank the organizers and all participants who turned the meeting into a space for new contacts, ideas, and future opportunities.
What remains from Skopje are new acquaintances, friendships, and plans, along with the confidence that women's entrepreneurship can be one of the strong bonds between the Balkan countries. 🌹
