Diagnosis
My diagnosis is a perianal fistula as a result of perianal abscesses. I sought treatment in Bulgaria, but without success. I learned about Medical Karajji Information Center from a friend and contacted Zvezdelina Lyutfi. She made an inquiry to several Turkish hospitals, and we chose Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital Istanbul.

Professor Doctor Ediz Altunlu successfully performed a perianal fistula operation using a new method that is not currently applied in Bulgaria. I am grateful to everyone who helped me along the way, but especially to Professor Ediz Altunlu, Zvezdelina Lyutfi from Medical Carrage, and Neriman Kulaksiz, the interpreter at Memorial Hospital. I am impressed by your professionalism, responsiveness, and warm attitude.

Information from us regarding anal fistula:
A perianal fistula is a common complication that occurs following a perianal abscess. An abscess is a pus-filled cavity in the soft tissues around the anus that requires surgical drainage. In about 50% of cases, such inflammation leads to the development of a fistula—a channel connecting the abscess cavity to the skin around the anus. A perianal fistula is characterized by periodic discharge of pus or secretions from the skin opening, and sometimes by pain or discomfort.
An anal fistula can be a serious health problem, especially if left untreated. The condition begins with pain, swelling, and sometimes fever, and complications can lead to chronic infection and a reduced quality of life. Therefore, early diagnosis and adequate treatment are crucial for successful recovery.
