  • 2005: Graduation with a thesis on "Validation of the minimally invasive approach in Crohn's disease surgery";
  • 2005: medical internship at Herz Jesu KH, Vienna;
  • 2006 - 2012: Surgical Assistant Physician at the Medical University of Vienna, Department of General/Transplant Surgery;
  • 2012: Appointed as a specialist in general surgery;
  • 2012 - 2013: Colorectales/Peritonealkarzinose Fellowship at Basingstoke and New Hampshire Hospital (UK);
  • 2013: Awarded Venia docendi (Habilitation: "Functional aspects in colorectal surgery");
  • Since 2014: Head of the outpatient clinic 7C for pelvic floor surgery at the Vienna Multidisciplinary Hospital;
