Mine is a common problem for men – I don't know if the right term is baldness, but definitely hair thinning. It's not that it bothers me that much, but since there are solutions – why not. So, word of mouth, I decided I would try a hair transplant in Istanbul.
The price is extremely acceptable, Istanbul is a beautiful city, and my wife and I had a pleasant vacation. We certainly would not have reached this decision if it weren't for the help of Medical Karaj. Especially in finding healthcare facilities and gathering offers.
All documents and information regarding the procedure were provided in a clear and understandable format. This gave me confidence to embark on the „hair transplant in Istanbul“ adventure.
The procedure itself
The procedure itself was divided into three parts: taking grafts from healthy areas (about 2 hours), creating channels for the new grafts (about an hour and a half), and placing the grafts (about 4 hours). There was absolutely no pain, except at the very beginning when the anesthetic was administered.

After the procedure is completed, the area from which the roots were removed is bandaged and kept with bandages and gauze until the first wash – usually the next day or the day after. At no point was there any pain after the operation, but for peace of mind, I took an Aulin the first evening (not that it was necessary).
Sleeping after the procedure is challenging, as a travel pillow (around the neck) must be used. You need to sleep with your head elevated to avoid touching the transplanted area – this lasts for about a week.
After the procedure, they gave me a pillow, a cap, and all the necessary shampoos and medications – an antibiotic, anti-swelling pills, painkillers, shampoo, gel, gauze, and iodine. During the first wash, I was thoroughly explained how to do it for the next 15 days.
The procedure is common in Turkey and absolutely no one pays attention to the bandages, so there's no need to worry. I skipped breakfast the day after the surgery due to excitement, but at lunch I decided to go down with my wife and after seeing the warm attitude of everyone, I forgot about the bandage and my slightly red head 🙂
Move boldly forward with hair transplantation in Istanbul! I remain available for questions – I don't mind sharing my contact information with anyone who might be interested.
