Romatem group clinics serve patients in the following areas:

  • Physical therapy and rehabilitation - neck hernia, lumbar hernia, neck pain, low back pain
  • Orthopaedic rehabilitation - Physiotherapy and exercise programmes are to restore normal movement and function of the joints, as well as to strengthen weak muscles. These programs are used to treat orthopedic problems such as fracture, dislocation, and ligament injuries; meniscus tears and ligament tears; sports injuries; or after surgery or arthroscopy of joints such as the shoulder, knee, and hip. The most important thing in orthopaedic rehabilitation is to prevent damage, restore function and get the patient back to an active life, and this is achieved with education, physiotherapy and exercise.
  • Manual therapies and treatment methods - Manual therapy includes joint manipulation, joint and nerve mobilization, soft tissue relaxation techniques, specific stretching techniques, soft tissue massage, clinical rigid and kinesiology techniques. Specific exercise programs also support treatment. Manual therapy is used in the area of musculoskeletal problems (pinched nerve, movement restrictions, fibromyalgia, tendon and ligament problems, etc.). It is also used in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation and neurological rehabilitation.
  • Neurological rehabilitation - applied in stroke, hemiplegia, Parkinson's disease, cerebral palsy CP spina bifida, etc.
Most injuries, degenerations, bodily defects, tumors and circulation problems destroy the nervous system. With physiotherapy and rehabilitation, patients with conditions such as paralysis (as a result of brain haemorrhage, head injury, stroke, brain tumours, spinal cord injuries etc) and various neurological diseases (such as multiple sclerosis) are treated to reach their maximum functional capacity. In treating "Spasticity", a form of muscle stiffness, treating nerve injuries that can occur in the arms and legs, and nerve entrapments such as carpal tunnel syndrome, the hospital administers physical therapy and a neurological rehabilitation program that aims to restore the patient's activity to the maximum possible and help them gain functional independence.
  • Hand rehabilitation - Hand pain, restricted movement and loss of function caused by conditions following injuries, surgery and illness are treated with hand rehabilitation programmes.
  • Occupational therapy
  • Cardiac rehabilitation - Cardiac Rehabilitation aims to improve cardiac function, quality of life and longevity for patients with heart disease through education and counseling services along with an exercise program performed in a safe environment under medical supervision. Cardiac rehabilitation includes physiological restoration and development of functional capacity, reduction of anxiety and depression, as well as maintaining the patient's status within the family and social environment. The most important benefit of cardiac rehabilitation is returning the patient to work.
  • Speech therapy
  • Ozone Therapy - It is used to treat circulatory disorders as it increases blood circulation. When used in small doses, it increases the body's resistance. With medical ozone therapy, successful results are achieved in patients with weak or impaired immune systems.
  • Paediatric rehabilitation
  • PRP
  • Reflexology - In reflexology, the stimulation of nerve points with certain techniques stimulates the appearance of electrochemical messages and this in turn simulates the corresponding organ. Through foot and hand reflexology, nerves in the body and blood circulation are affected by manually stimulating certain points.
  • Diagnosis and treatment of scoliosis
  • Electrotherapy
  • Kinesiotherapy - It is a treatment option for orthopedic and neurological problems as well as back and neck pain. Its applications are gradually increasing. In theory, kinesiotherapy increases the space between the skin and muscles by lifting the skin and reducing the pressure built up in the area. Kinesiology tapes are used to help tired, weak or injured muscles that have lost flexibility.
  • Treatment of lymphedema - Lymphedema is the accumulation of lymph fluid in the tissues due to an inability to release caused by a disorder in the lymphatics. Treatment includes manual massage of lymph drainage, bandages, compression stockings and exercise.
  • Acupuncture - The main illnesses and diseases in which acupuncture is applied are: obesity, cigarette addiction, migraine, lumbosacral disc herniation, soft tissue rheumatism, all painful conditions related to the musculoskeletal system, depression, trigeminal neuralgia, tinnitus, asthma, panic attacks.
  • Hydrotherapy - Therapeutic treatment in an aquatic environment. Hydrotherapy is extremely important in the treatment of neurological cases such as arthrosis of the knees, hemiplegia, cerebral palsy (CP), multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, paralytic walking, etc.
  • Massage, pilates, yoga and fitness - various programs and exercises for healthy living
  • Dry needle treatment
  • Sports Medicine - The main goal of rehabilitation for athletes is to aid physical recovery (eliminating pain, developing muscle strength and increasing muscular endurance). In this way, it is possible to prevent complications that may arise following injuries and associated restriction of movement during the following period. Physiotherapy can be used to treat sports injuries leading to joint function deficiency, loss of joint function as a result of fractures, meniscus or cruciate ligament problems.
  • Treatment of obesity

The technologies used in Romatem hospitals are:

  • AMADEO (the robot with fingers)
  • ARMEO (robot arm)
  • Diers Formetric 4D Scoliosis Analysis Device
  • ESWT (shock wave therapy)
  • LOKOMAT (Walking Robot)
  • SPINAL HOME DEPRESSION SYSTEM (DRX 9000 C)
  • THERASUIT
  • ERİGO
  • VERETRACK (VERTICAL TRACTION)
