  • From 1983 to 1995 he was Director of the Cytogenetic Laboratory of the 2nd Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Vienna,
  • In the years 1992 and 1998 he was a consultant at the Department of Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology of the Medical University of Vienna,
  • From 1998 to present Univ. prof. Alexander Reitnhaler is Deputy Director of the Department of Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology, Medical University of Vienna,
  • In 1991, he became associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology,
  • In 1996 he became a professor of obstetrics and gynaecology,
  • From 1991 to 1992 he did a subspecialty in human genetics, Department of Pediatrics, University of Vienna.

  • He has been a member of the Austrian Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology since 1983,
  • In 1984, she became a member of the American Society of Reproduction and Menopause,
  • Since 1991 he has been a member of the Foundation and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Austrian Society of Gynecological Oncology (AGO),
  • In 2005, he became a member of GCIG (Gynecologic Cancer Inter Group),
