  • Prof. Dr. Ozturk was born in 1961 in Erzincan. He is married, has 2 children and speaks English.
  • In 1978 he completed his secondary education at Ankara Ataturk High School and in 1984 he graduated from GATA Military Medical Faculty.
  • Between 1985-1987 he worked as a military flight surgeon at the Second Main Jet Base Izmir.
  • In 1992, he received a specialty in Internal Medicine at the Gulhane Military Medical Academy, and later, in 1995, he received a specialty in Hematology.
  • As early as 1992, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Oztur started working as an assistant at the GATA Haidarpasa Teaching Hospital.
  • In 1997, Dr. Ozturk became an associate professor and in 2003 he became a professor.
  • In 1997, he traveled to the United States where he performed a bone marrow transplant clinical trial for 1 year at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
  • In 2002, Prof. Dr. Ozturk became the Head of the Hematology Clinic at GATA Haidarpasha Hospital.
  • In 2016, he started working at Acibadem Maslak Hospital where he has been practicing in the Hematology Department till date.

In addition to the above conditions, over the years, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ozturk has done research and published on topics related to the treatment of colorectal cancer, Helicobacter pylori, non-small cell lung cancer.
