Prof. Dr. Salih Boa graduated from the medical faculty of one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey - Hacettepe, Ankara in 2004. He specialized in Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of Bashkent University from 2004 to 2010. After this specialization, he won a postdoctoral fellowship and specialized in Gastroenterology at the Yale Transplant Center, Yale University School of Medicine, USA from 2014 to 2016.

Methods of examination and treatment that Prof. Dr. Salih Boa uses in his practice:

  • Gastroscopy - examination of the upper digestive tract (esophagus, stomach and duodenum) using an endoscope - a long, thin, flexible tube containing a camera and light to see the lining of these organs.
  • Colonoscopy - a procedure in which the inside of the rectum and colon is viewed. A colonoscopy can show irritated and swollen tissue, ulcers, polyps, and tumors of the colon.

In addition to diagnosis, gastroscopy and colonoscopy are also used as treatment methods.

  • Ultrasound diagnosis to check the main organs in the abdominal cavity - gallbladder, kidneys, liver, pancreas and spleen.
  • Medicamentous treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract
