The VISION test is a non-invasive prenatal test that provides reassurance early in pregnancy. By taking only a sample of the mother's blood, the test detects the most common chromosomal abnormalities in the baby. Some of these include Down syndrome, Edwards syndrome, Patau syndrome, as well as conditions related to sex chromosomes (Turner syndrome, Klinefelter syndrome, XYY syndrome, etc.).
The sex of the fetus can also be determined if desired.
