Our story began with one of Nedelya Shonova's shows on bTV. The topic was IVF, and there was an interview with Prof. Cem Fıçıcıoğlu. My husband and I had been struggling to have children for 10 years, and the topic intrigued us. We really liked Prof. Cem, and I decided to look for the company that represented him here in Bulgaria. That's how I found ZIC Medical Karage.
I called and made an appointment to speak with the manager of the health center. That's how my husband and I met the wonderful Zvezdi! We told her our story, brought documents from previous procedures and tests, and told her that we had chosen Prof. Dzhem. After our meeting, Zvezdi sent our documents to the professor, and he said he would take our case.
We had unexplained infertility and in Bulgaria, we couldn't reach the blastocyst stage after IVF. All our attempts were unsuccessful. After the professor said he would take on our case, we received a list of tests that both my husband and I had to do. After sending the test results, and since my AMH was low, the professor suggested we do the PRP procedure. So, we went to Istanbul, Acıbadem Kozyatağı Hospital.

On the road to our dream.
The stars helped us purchase tickets as we traveled by bus and booked a hotel for us. A car from the hospital was waiting for us at the bus station in Istanbul, which took us to the hotel, and on the day of the procedure, another hospital car took us there. Then we met Prof. Cem and his excellent team. Sevginar, who was our translator, is part of his team.
Sevgi is wonderful, responsive, kind, and always ready to help! My husband and I were extremely satisfied! After the PRP procedure, I was prescribed medications, injections, and supplements to take. After two cycles, IVF stimulation began. I want to note that I personally felt very calm during the stimulation, the examinations, and the puncture! This was thanks to Prof. Jem and his wonderful team!
We told the professor that we hadn't reached blastocyst in Bulgaria, and then he suggested we use an embryoscope to monitor the embryo after fertilization and a microchip to select the best of the best sperm, as my husband's spermogram wasn't good. And we had a blastocyst on the fifth day! Unfortunately, genetic testing of the embryo showed it wasn't suitable for transfer! But we didn't give up!
We started a month ago and made a second IVF attempt again with a fifth-day blastocyst, and this time the embryo was suitable for transfer. Throughout all these procedures, we had constant communication with Zvezda and the team in Istanbul. We felt very calm and in safe hands! The transfer of our embryo followed, and a successful pregnancy test 14 days after the transfer!
I'm pregnant and awaiting our little miracle!
My husband and I hope everything is okay and that we will embrace our long-awaited child! For us, the most important thing was the peace of mind we felt and received from Zvezdi and Professor Cem's team. The good organization at the hospital and the warm care for us! The attitude they had towards us! And of course their great professionalism! We thank Zvezdi, Professor Cem, and his team from the bottom of our hearts!
