For the seventh consecutive year, the annual Balkan Medical Awards were presented. The awards are presented for the greatest contribution, humanism and responsibility to doctors, hospitals, clinics and centres that have demonstrated significant achievements in the field of healthcare in the Balkans. The ceremony took place at an official event on June 17, 2022 in Plovdiv.

One of our leading neurosurgeons, Assoc. Dr. Zafer Toktash-for his international contribution to the treatment of patients with neurosurgical diseases. Due to health problems, Assoc. Dr. Zafer Toktash was not present at the event and his award was accepted by our Chief Coordinator, Razieh Neget.
